Painted by Trevillion in 2017 and inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Self-portrait with straw hat’, Trevillion was compelled to create this artwork when struck by the uncanny facial likeness of England Cricketer Ben Stokes and Van Gogh and their unique individual creative genius.
The painting first appeared in the Observer newspaper in 2017 and was exhibited at the 'Black Gallery Tring launch exhibition 2017/2018.
